Godfrey Parks & Recreation

The Godfrey Parks & Recreation Department is excited to host its first-ever Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 11, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Parks department are inviting local residents, families, community members, and businesses to participate by decorating a vehicle and handing out candy or small toys to children attending the event. This is a fun opportunity to get involved, meet your neighbors, and help make this new Godfrey tradition a memorable one for our community. Please note that those participating with a trunk will need to provide their own candy or toys to hand out. If you or your group is interested in having a trunk at the event, please complete the registration form (click here for a registration form) and return it to the Village Park and Recreation office during regular business hours or email it to the park department at parksandrec@godfreyil.org no later than Friday, October 02, 2026. Additional information will be sent shortly after the Parks department receive your registration. If you would like to support the event but are unable to participate with a trunk, the Village will also be accepting candy donations at the Godfrey Parks & Recreation Office during regular business hours.
